Best combination of choose your own adventure and unreliable narrator.
I was driving when I was listening.
I did not form a complete story, although these
two moments stayed with me.
The word I said was “Hope”.
And…
I saw the glint of gold on the throne.
I grabbed the crown…
Later when I checked to see if it was safe, I found a book instead, with a golden crown on the cover.
